Derek Hebert
Lead Designer DB Drill Design
Derek Hebert has been designing drill since 1998 for numerous bands both on the high school and collegiate level. Through the 2008 marching season, Derek has designed or co-designed fifty-seven shows for thirty different marching bands.
Derek attended Louisiana State University and marched in the famed Golden Band from Tigerland. He also participated in the Symphonic Bands and Bengal Brass Basketball Band. Derek is currently attending the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Prior to his collegiate career, Derek was trombone section leader, student conductor, and later drum major of the Thibodaux High School Tiger Band. He was consistently chose for both Parish and District Honor Bands.
Derek has been involved in music for over 15 years as a performer, drill designer, educator, composer, and field technician.
